I’m looking for a cheap car, and I mean CHEAP. Like, I’m hoping to spend no more then $ 600 on a working car that doesn’t eat gas like candy. Can anyone recommend a website that (other then Craigslist and Ebay and Auto Trader) sells cars for cheap? I know it’s tough to find cheap working cars right now but I’d like to look.

Your best bet is to go to the supermarket and grab an auto locator magazine. They’re usually in the same racks with apartment guides and stuff like that.

I second your first poster you aren’t likely to find what you’re looking for online and wanted to give you a tip on when to find a car that cheap at your local dealership.
watch for when the local dealerships have a sale where they claim that they will take ANYTHING for trade in. Some of those trade in vehicles will be set aside to take to auction because they are too old or ugly for them to keep on the lot. but they will sell them to you if you make an offer–they won’t be able to offer a warranty on them so you will be buying “as is”
